Use the mission files for the selected map and current DayZ version. Chernarus, Livonia and Sakhal do not have identical item lists. Keep the complete live file and a clean vanilla copy before changing any values, because replacing a file with an older map or game release can remove valid classes.

Balance DayZ loot without breaking types.xml
A practical guide to boosting useful loot, reducing unwanted items and preserving a valid Central Loot Economy file for Chernarus, Livonia or Sakhal.
Nominal is the target quantity the Central Loot Economy tries to maintain and min is the point that allows restocking to begin. Lifetime controls how long an untouched item remains, restock controls replacement timing, and quantmin or quantmax control supported quantity values such as ammunition or consumable contents. Min should not be greater than nominal.
Increasing nominal does not guarantee an item can spawn everywhere. Category, usage and value or tier tags must still match eligible building loot definitions. A weapon marked only for military use will not become town loot just because its nominal value is doubled.
A useful boosted preset can raise weapons, ammunition, medical supplies and military clothing while lowering unwanted civilian clothing. Apply a clear percentage or capped rule to the selected classes, keep zero-nominal event or crafted entries zero unless their design is understood, and never invent class names.
Keep the XML declaration, one types root, every untouched type entry and each entry's closing tags. A safe editor changes the intended values in place rather than rebuilding a tiny replacement file from only the chosen items. Compare entry counts before accepting the output.
Parse the completed XML, check duplicate class names, verify numeric ranges and compare totals against the correct vanilla reference. Review a diff before upload, keep a backup of the exact live source and use server logs after restart to confirm the economy loaded.

The bot functions great, with plenty of options. The translation feature is pretty unique and handy for my server which has some international players. The owner of the bot is super helpful and on the ball if you have any issues, would 1000000% recommend!
