Wandering Bot privacy policy

Wandering Bot is a DayZ server owner tool. The dashboard stores only the information needed to run Discord feeds, server controls, billing access, and support workflows.

Information used by the service

Wandering Bot may store Discord user and server IDs, channel IDs, role IDs, linked gamertags, player shop order history, dashboard login records, server profile settings, feed routing choices, billing plan state, and support messages.

Player sign-in uses Discord to identify the account and the configured communities it currently shares with Wandering Bot. The Discord OAuth access token is not stored in the player session.

Nitrado, FTP, Discord, and Stripe secret values are treated as server-side credentials. They are never placed inside the mobile app package.

Wandering Voice and audio

Wandering Voice processes a member's speech only after that member explicitly opts in to an active translation session. Consent can be withdrawn at any time and is also cleared when the member leaves the voice channel or the session ends.

Short audio segments are held temporarily in memory and sent to OpenAI's API for transcription and translation. Wandering Voice does not write voice recordings to its application storage or create voice profiles. OpenAI processes the submitted audio and text under its applicable API data controls.

When spoken output is selected, translated text is converted into a clearly disclosed AI-generated synthetic interpreter voice and played into the active Discord voice channel. Wandering Voice does not clone, imitate, or create a reusable profile of any member's voice.

Translated captions may be posted in the Discord text channel selected by the server administrator and therefore remain subject to that server's Discord message retention and moderation settings.

How information is used

The data is used to route feeds, manage DayZ server dashboards, show a player only their own linked server profiles and economy, process player shop orders, enforce dashboard access, process setup actions, support billing or manual access, and help server owners audit staff actions.

The app and dashboard use the same backend permissions. Installing the mobile app does not bypass owner or server access checks.
