Every edit belongs to a specific DayZ mission, map and game version. Keep a clean copy of the live file before changing it, and do not copy a PC mod configuration to a console server unless you have checked that the file and feature are supported there.

types.xml defines item economy values and loot rules. cfgspawnabletypes.xml can add attachments, cargo and damage rules. Categories and usages must agree with the building data and limits definitions, otherwise an item may look valid but never be eligible to spawn where you expect.
events.xml defines what an event can spawn and how it behaves. cfgeventspawns.xml gives that same named event one or more positions. A new event needs the matching name in both files; a spelling difference means DayZ cannot connect the definition to its spawn points.
cfgGameplay.json can reference custom JSON files, including object spawners and supported world features. The file path, filename and JSON syntax must match exactly. Weather can be controlled with cfgweather.xml or scripting, so check which approach the mission already uses before adding a second weather system.
One misplaced XML tag, missing quote or trailing JSON comma can stop a file from loading. Validate the exact final file, review the changed block against the correct vanilla map version, then upload only to the intended mission folder. After a restart, read server logs and confirm the expected event, loot or object actually loaded.
A useful DayZ assistant should explain the file relationship, generate a complete file or exact insert, validate the result, and warn when it needs a current vanilla reference or a mod author’s schema. It should not pretend an unknown mod file is vanilla or guess a class name that has not been checked.

The bot functions great, with plenty of options. The translation feature is pretty unique and handy for my server which has some international players. The owner of the bot is super helpful and on the ball if you have any issues, would 1000000% recommend!
