Help an international DayZ community talk together
Automatic translation can keep recruitment, trading, factions and general chat readable without forcing players to leave Discord to translate each message.
Owners can keep a translation beside the conversation or send translated messages to a dedicated channel. A dedicated route is useful for busy communities, while same-channel mode makes a smaller mixed-language chat easier to follow.
Translation rules should target the intended community channels and language pairs. Staff, audit and private operational channels should not be translated automatically unless the owner has a clear reason.
Mentions, supported emoji and the message author remain part of the visible context. Translation is intended to improve understanding, not replace moderation or prove the exact legal meaning of a message.
Machine translation can misunderstand slang, abbreviations and DayZ-specific terms. Communities should keep the original visible and ask a fluent speaker when a moderation or payment decision depends on precise wording.
Host connectionChoose your platform and provider first. Supported console connections use an API token; compatible PC hosts use BattlEye RCon for live controls.
Selected profileChoose the correct DayZ server, provider, platform and map before connecting tools.
Optional file accessUse the FTP, FTPS or SFTP details from your host when ADM/RPT feeds or server-file tools are needed.

Questions Server Owners Ask
Which Wandering Bot plans include translation?Automatic Discord translation is included with Wandering Bot Pro and Ultimate.
Does the original message stay visible?Yes. The translation format keeps the original and translated text available so users can compare the context.
Can translations go into another channel?Yes. Owners can route translation output to a selected channel or use a same-channel workflow.
Is automatic translation always exact? No. Slang, names and game-specific terms can be imperfect, which is why the original message should remain visible.
